You do need to complete a medical questionnaire. If you answer "yes" to certain questions you must get a doctors note and take it with you to the resort. Ultimately, the dive instructors at Sandals & Beaches Resorts have the final approval on whether or not a guest is considered fit to dive.

It is not required to carry diving insurance for your trip however we do highly recommend it. You can purchase insurance with DAN or DiveAssure. Or reach out to us and we can assist you with travel insurance through Travel Guard that includes Adventure Sports.
This is not required however we highly recommend travel insurance to cover a variety of issues. Such as, medical/illness/injury expenses during your trip, travel delay due to weather conditions, a missed connection or overnight hotel stay, and other unforeseen circumstances before or during your trip that may cause cancellation or incur additional unexpected expenses. We can assist you with options.
You must bring/show your Certification card which must be issued by a known accreditation such as PADI, SSI, NAUI. Bring your log book as you must show your last logged dive. If it has been longer than 6 months you may be asked to do a quick pool skills check, longer than 18 months and you will be asked to take a refresher course at an additional cost. A shirt, rash guard, or wetsuit is required to dive - wetsuits are available to rent and shirts and rash guards are for sale at the dive shop or bring your own!
Sandals and Beaches provides you with a BCD, Regulators, Mask, Snorkel, and Fins for FREE! If you need a wetsuit (preferred at some destinations and during certain seasons) they are available for rent at approx. $10/day.
Yes! Sandals and Beaches has PADI certified over 100,000 divers. There are various options please contact us for more details or view our courses page.
Yes they do! Please let the dive team know you are interested and if they have enough participants they will take a group out. It normally is a minimum of 4 divers and the cost is approx. $100 per person, subject to change and may vary by resort.
8 years old is the minimum age requirement.
I'm sorry they can not. However they may want to try out the complimentary snorkel trips that go out everyday!
It's a great opportunity to meet others who also enjoy diving and traveling. There are perks if a group meets 5 rooms or more. There are also potential room discounts if the group hits 6 or 12 rooms depending on the season. Please view the link for more details.
